Cattle are quite happy to wade in the shallows on the shores of Loch Ness if there are tasty leaves within reach. This still from a video taken in July 2000 by Dick Raynor shows two cattle just below Strone Point, near Urquhart Castle. The following day the video of a deer was taken in the same location, eating the leaves from the same tree!  Anyone walking along the shore and catching a glimpse of the animals just round the next large boulder could be forgiven for not wishing to get a closer look.
